 Our mission is to establish a community where all citizens of Fort Worth have an opportunity to create art to enrich their lives and that of others.

History

Sara Hiett founded Panther City Artists in June 2019 after 15 years as an art educator in FWISD schools. Witnessing art’s transformative impact on her students and families, she recognized a gap in accessible art programs for Fort Worth’s diverse population. Motivated to bridge this gap, she established Panther City Artists, a nonprofit dedicated to enriching lives through the arts. With the belief that “Everyone is an Artist,” the organization provides inclusive, meaningful experiences for all, regardless of background.

Panther City Artists partners with schools, churches, nonprofits, and businesses to bring creative opportunities to the community.

Our mission is to offer affordable, inclusive art programs in Fort Worth.
