Who We Are
Serving the community of Fort Worth through Art
Panther City Artists was founded by Sara Hiett; having taught Art in FWISD Title 1 schools for 15 years and witnessing the transformative power of Art making in her classroom, students, and their families, she saw the need to create an easily accessible Arts community for all the citizens of Fort Worth.
Our mission and focus are to foster and create an experience for participants to find meaning and fulfillment in the process and experience. This can be done by offering a safe, fun, creative space for the most serious artists to someone just looking to have fun.
In June 2020, Panther City Artists became a non-profit organization.
Since then, we have been working in schools, churches, in partnership with other non-profits, and the general community to fulfill our mission of bringing Art to the community to enrich people’s lives and that of others. So far, this has been achieved through murals, classes, camps, and experiences that people didn’t have access to or didn’t even know it was possible to experience.

How Your Donations HelpPanther City Artists receives donations for the operational costs of the organization. Our goal is for programming to be a minimal cost or free. Scholarships are always available. Our organization will never discriminate against the homeless, poverty-stricken, jobless, disabled, wealthy, poor, working, or veteran. This is done because of the resources we receive from donors.
